A full day exploration of the expressive language of your soul using movement, guided meditation, poetry, writing, art-making, simple collaborative performance, and ritual.

Why do some colors turn us on? We will use multiple painting and collage explorations to discover and develop personal color palettes that rock our visual world. Your final 2-D or 3-D project will create something to bring home that will let your palette live in your everyday life. (Most Materials Provided)

Powerful Portraits
This intensive two-day creative workshop will guide and assist you in creating a symbolically meaningful and spiritually charged portrait of yourself, another subject, or a combination of beings. Inspired by Freda Kahlo, we will use guided visualization, personal experience, visual reference and intuitive knowing to create a powerful portrait whose imagery and intent will have meaning and consequence for our ongoing journey. ( All Levels. Most materials provided.)

Drawing Out Our Sexualities
How does sex live in the dance of your life? Is there a way to make intimate art about our erotic and sexual lives from the inside out? Is there a way to illustrate the specific longings, the pains, the mysteries and the pleasures we may experience that might begin to turn the tide against all the imagery telling us how to (and how not to) feel. To honor and express our deep experience of sexuality - trans, bi, poly, queer, straight, or omni - we will use whatever artistic means necessary (drawing, painting, sculpture, video, photo, collage, etc.) to render personally charged erotic imagery with passion, sensuality, and grace. (All Levels. A small group with lots of attention to respect and openness. Many materials provided.)
